George Sidiropoulos

George is a technical innovator and co-founder of Think Silicon, now part of Applied Materials.
He started his engineering career as a digital IC designer at Atmel (now part of Microchip Technology Inc.) and was involved in many SoC designs that reached the wireless communications and VoIP markets. He then continued as a GPU designer at Think Silicon developing the ultra-low power Think-Series GPUs of the company before moving to the business side.
As the CEO of Think Silicon, George was responsible for corporate strategy, business development, fund raising, sales and Intellectual Property Rights.
In April 2020 Think Silicon was acquired by Applied Materials and George is still fighting to maintain his startup mentality in order to grow the business and the team aggressively.
