Biography
George Apostolopoulos is a Civil Engineer, a graduate of the Technical University of Thessaloniki. He holds a master’s degree in “Environmental, Disaster and Crisis Management Strategies” from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens. From 2014 to September 2021 he was Deputy Mayor of Urban Infrastructure, Construction and Building Works of the Municipality of Athens, member of the Board of Directors of the Central Union of Greek Municipalities (KEDE) and Member of the Spatial Plan, Infrastructure and Environment Committee of KEDE,up to November 2019. From September 2021 he was appointed President Information Technology & Services(DAEM SA, Municipality of Athens). As an engineer he has shown significant activity in the design and construction of private projects. In addition, he is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece and the Association of Builders of Buildings of Greece.
