Lazaros Kapsias

Lazaros Kapsias, BSc, Loctio founder & CEO, is a seasoned executive and technical manager with more than 20 years of working experience in various wireless technology disciplines. He received his BSc in Physics in 2001 from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Greece) and his MSc in Integrated Circuits and Embedded systems in 2005 from the University of Patras, Greece. He worked as a System Engineer in Atmel (Sep 2002 – May 2004) and in 2004 he co-founded Antcor SA that eventually was acquired from u-blox AG in 2014. During this tenure, he served as President and CTO of the company. From Aug 2014 to May 2019, he worked as Wireless Technical Manager for u-blox Short Range Wireless business unit and in Jun 2019 he founded Loctio where he holds the CEO position. His expertise includes among others, technical and administrative management, business development, sales and pre-sales, fundraising, wireless technologies (cellular, wi-fi, Bluetooth, V2X), IC, and embedded systems designing.
